Overview:
Bringing in a very significant presence, is
Allan Gardyne. He is an inspiration to all Internet Marketers.
He started out as a journalist (and even looks a little bit
like Geraldo Rivera). He does not sell his own products, but
lives off affiliate sales, proving it can be done.
It’s
easy to believe that if you just put up a site full of affiliates,
you’ll become very rich. Nothing could be further from
the truth. Allan Gardyne, by his own admission, made many
mistakes, and for two years faltered along, making only a
small, part-time income. Finally in 1998 he got serious and
quit his day job as a journalist at Fraser Coast Chronicle.
He devoted himself to full-time affiliate program promotion,
and today earns an excellent living at it. (top)
Positive:
One of the refreshing things about
Gardyne is that he didn’t write his own course or ebook
on how to make a mint on affiliate programs, and offer it
to the rest of us. Instead he says:

“You don’t have to make the mistakes I did. Life’s
too short for that.
To
learn how you can make a good living with affiliate programs,
Subscribe to the Associate Programs Newsletter. It’s
crammed with insider tips and reviews of affiliate programs.”

You
see, he gives away his hard-earned knowledge. He has learned
how giving away fresh new valuable information keeps drawing
people back to his site, and creating more and more sales.
Besides
his newsletter, Gardyne’s site always has fresh information
and articles to keep you coming back for more. The more time
you spend on his site, the more you’ll likely use him
as a source for linking to his affiliates.
Gardyne
gives you a real sense of the person behind the site, so that
you feel he is a friend. You trust him and almost feel compelled
to support him. I should be so successful at this! (top)
Negative:
Sometimes I think Gardyne slants his reviews toward the positive
side a little bit in order to encourage a sale. OK, maybe
“slant” is a little harsh. Rather, I think he
is honest about the positive aspects of various products,
but may be slow to point out the negative aspects or alternative
products that may deliver better for less money.
If
that’s the most negative feedback I have on Gardyne,
then he must be doing something right. He is! (top)
Products:
None. By that I mean that Allan Gardyne doesn't produce products
for sale. However, he does produce a number of excellent articles
(see Valuable Free Content section for more information).

Affiliate
Program:
Since Allan Gardyne doesn't produce his own products for sale,
he has little need of an affiliate program, and he doesn't
have one. (top)
Site
Popups:
Refreshingly, I didn't get any popups on Allan Gardyne's site.
That's one of the things that makes it appealing and a pleasure
to come back to it again and again. (top)
Valuable
Free Content:
As I mentioned earlier, Allan Gardyne gives away great information
in the form of articles on a regular basis. He's not threatened
by telling others the things he's learned from his own testing,
and reading. When you're the master at something, you certainly
are not afraid of being edged out by your "students."
I appreciate Gardyne's regular helpful articles. I give him
an A++ in this area. (top)
Newsletter:
Rather than trying to sell you a course, Gardyne simply tells
you he's willing to help you not repeat his mistakes by giving
away what he learns in his free ezine. My hat's off to Gardyne
for an excellent newsletter. (top)
Money-Back
Guarantee:
Since Gardyne doesn't have products of his own, there's nothing
to offer a money-back guarantee on. (top)
Support:
Excellent personal response within 24 hours. He doesn't guarantee
a certain response time, but it is apparent he is dedicated
to supporting his site. Gardyne gets an A from me on support.
