These
two packages are not intended for or particularly useful for
the home marketing entrepreneur. They are designed for larger,
or at least growing corporations that need a quick set of
policies to control Internet and email access.
For
their intended audience they are a bargain. For $30 no firm
could come close to developing an email or Internet usage
policy on their own. Even if an employee worked for only $10/hour,
he or she would not be able to beat the cost. It would take
the employee several days of work to design the plan and rollout
procedure. Here the work is done for him or her for the cost
of only three hours of time. To a large firm, that's pennies!
Both
packages include both the policies themselves and the rollout
plan, including how to get executives in on the picture. Both
packages are included in the other kit's Gold plan. The Platinum
edition
include an Anti-virus and data-security policy.
As
a small entrepreneur you can, and should ignore these kits.
When you firm gets really big, remember them. They may save
you a lot of money!
