This
is Michael Green's top-selling product. Whether you use a
newsletter or ezine, a regular mailing is critical to the
success of an online business. I have run successful ezines
in the past so I can identify with the frustrations involved.
It is not an easy task.
By
the way, there is another product called Easy Ezine which
directly covers an electronic publication, but this product
is geared more toward a print newsletter. Not to say it isn't
applicable to electronic publications as well.
Unfortunately,
to read Green's advertising for the product, you'd think it
is incredibly easy. Just 20 minutes and you crank out an award-winning
newsletter! Well, it's not as simple as he makes it sound.
What he's talking about here is that there is a large cache
of canned articles in the package to choose from, and all
you do it cut and paste.
I
disagree with this method. After only a few people use these
articles, they are no longer original. The real value, in
my mind is to use the articles to trigger ideas, and examples
of style, then to alter them into your own original content
- and I guarantee you won't do that in 20 minutes.
But
that doesn't mean the package is useless. In fact I do recommend
it. To make a go of it on your own, not knowing how to write
a good article, what DTP (Desktop Publishing) products to
use, and how to integrate valuable content with product sales,
you'll likely fail miserable. So
the service Green provides is a valuable one. For less than
$35 it's a bargain. If you can't reap $35 worth of return
from it, you're in the wrong business.
Green
spends some time dealing with basics like how to create loyalty
and credibility. Amateurish copy can kill you. and Green knows
the value of looking like a professional even when you're
a rookie. After all, when he started his Internet Marketing
business, he had no experience in it whatsoever, but from
day one you'd never know that.
Oh,
I suppose you'll want to know about the the various editions
and bonuses. Here they are:
The
Gold Edition includes an extra 100 canned articles. The Platinum
Edition includes an extra 200 articles.
As
far as bonuses, they are (1) Twelve extra design templates
(2) Understanding print decisions - he knows what he's talking
about since he ran a printing company long before he started
his Internet business, (3) Posting online - deciding on PDF,
HTML or other formats, for example, (4) Web-based resources
- clip art collections and such on the Web. So there you have
it and here again is the link if you're interested in reading
his own advertising.
