Copywriting is at the heart of your sales effectiveness.
Writing Copy for Dummies by Jonathan Kranz is
a good overview, as are most of the For Dummies books.
It is written primarily from the standpoint of Kranz's
own experience which is writing for large corporations
in an advertising agency. However, don't let it fool
you. There is plenty of material for the one-man (or
woman) online copywriter. Primarily be prepared to learn
about the mind set you need for writing good copy. There
are sections in it specifically for writing for online
auctions, for email, writing winning articles, and a
host of other online techniques.
