It is refreshing to find a book about attitudes and
wealth building that doesn't try to indoctrinate you
to some sort of metaphysical feel-good magic.
This 300-page book costs a mere 10 bucks
and is a goldmine. It is a perfect example of the reason
Dan Kennedy is known as the millionaire maker.
Do your attitudes affect the way you build wealth?
Yes, resoundingly. But Kennedy makes it clear that there
is no magic about it. It may seem like magic, but it
is simply that your attitudes affect your behavior.
Here's how Kennedy puts it on page 24, "...the
metaphysical version puts the responsibility for what
will happen 'out there." Things will turn around.
Not that you will turn things around. It's a difference
between passive and active."
Kennedy breaks one attitude after another about building
your business and making money at it. He will bust through
our guilt of charging in one fell swoop - "Is getting
the most money possible for the goods or services you
deliver greed or intelligence? Are you a better person
if you voluntarily get less money than you could . .
.? . . .No, in fact, you are derelict in your duty as
a business owner. You have a duty to yourself, your
family, your investors, partners, or shareholders, your
lenders, your vendors and your customers. That responsibility
is to attain the absolute highest and greatest profits
possible so you can stay in business to honor every
commitment to every one of these constituencies."
Nearly every page has phrases I wanted to underline
and quote.
In section one there are 26 short chapters, each taking
on one attitude, and each packed with mind-shaking reality
- often opposite your current attitudes.
In part two there are eleven special guest writers,
each with gold in their words.
Part three is a list of further reading and references
that is worth the price of the book by itself.
Listen closely. For ten bucks this is golden deal.
It has given me many times it's value in material to
write about, change by behavior incorporate into my
marketing strategy and woke me up to new opportunities.
I highly recommend this inexpensive investment.
